Presented by Greg Parrott. The life of a soldier in the early 19th century will be described. Weapons, flintlock muskets and rifles, will be explained and differences displayed between weapon styles. Uniforms are regular Army from this period. Equipment discussed will be those items required of the soldier and those that he had room to carry to help him exist in the military environment.
