“All Work and No Play? Sports in the Civilian Conservation Corps.” presented by Kay Rippelmeyer Tippy 

Through over 50 archival, carefully chosen photographs, Kay explain that the camps were the home away from homes for the CCC enrollees and their sports teams knitted their allegiance to their camps and each other. Featured in the program is Willis Boo, who visited several of the CCC camps (including Waterloo’s) and played a ballgame with the Pomona camp boys.
