Miles Cemetery Restoration and Experiences” by Dylane Doerr

Miles Cemetery and the mausoleum sets on a bluff overlooking the American Bottoms in Monroe County.  Our program highlights the history of the cemetery, the restoration of the mausoleum after years of neglect and plans for future work to be accomplished.  The art of “Dowsing” will be explained and demonstrations given illustrating how Dowsing comes in handy even in cemetery work.  Doerr, one of three trustees for Miles Cemetery, is interested in history and has worked hard to preserve and improve the cemetery for continued use.
