Highlights of Rick’s Antarctica presentation will include photos of the magnificent wildlife and stark, but beautiful environment from the other side of the globe as well as an overview of the Whaling Industry in the Southern Ocean. She will also review Sir Earnest Shackleton’s 1914 South Pole Expedition. Our program is scheduled for the Allscheid-Metzger Gallery in the History Museum of Monroe County at 724 Elaine Drive in Waterloo, IL.
