Prehistory of the Kaskaskia-Cahokia Trail

Steve Boles, a research archaeologist with the Illinois State Archaeological Survey and is stationed at their American Bottom Field Station in Wood River. He has a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and has been involved in different facets of archaeology for over thirty years. Steve spent much of his life in Jefferson County, Illinois but currently resides in Waterloo.
