Lynn Rippelmeyer began her career in aviation as a TWA flight attendant where she became interested in flying.  She was part of the first all-female crew for a scheduled US carrier at Air Illinois and then went on to be hired as TWA’s second female pilot , She was Capt. on the first all-female Boeing 737 crew, the first woman to fly the Boeing 747 and the first to captain the “Jumbo Jet” across the Atlantic ocean.
