Who will detail how the nuisance of the stockyards disguised a money machine and economic powerhouse that helped to industrialize Southern Illinois while it fed the world. Part of a national network, the stockyards funded the railroads and led to the breakthroughs in business practices, labor relations, animal rights, environmental recycling and even the way we eat. His program will be at the History Museum of Monroe County in the Allscheid-Metzger Gallery located at 724 Elaine Drive, Waterloo, IL.
