“Who is Buried in the Moore/Bellefontaine Cemetery?” by Tom Smith

This cemetery is hundreds of years old and located along the Kaskaskia-Cahokia Trail behind BelleFontaine House and the History Museum. It is generally known that Captain James Moore is buried there as is Captain John Whiteside, both having fought in the American Revolution. New research at Moore Cemetery will be shared!
